	. *Nitophyllum punctatum* (Stackhouse) Greville (10cm) (=Ulva punctata Stackhouse, =Delesseria punctata (Stackhouse) Agardh) .
	Etymo: gr: bright leaf; lat: dotted Etymo: gr: foglia luminosa; lat: punteggiato
	. Flat, soft, thin, fan-like thallus, cut in two-three main segments that are in turn dichotomically divided; rounded or squared extremities; no stipe: the thallus spreads directly from the base; fringed, and often folded margins; 10 to 50cm. Light pink. The gametophyte and the sporophyte are similar. The cystocarps and the sores are scattered on the thallus and appear as small dark spots. Annual species, colonizing the infralittoral, sheltered environments. Tallo a forma di ventaglio, piatto, soffice, sottile, tagliato in due o tre segmenti principali, a loro volta ramificati dicotomicamente; estremità arrotondate o squadrate; senza stipo: il tallo si allarga direttamente dalla base; margini sfrangiati e spesso ripiegati; altezza da 10 a 50cm. Colore rosa pallido. Il gametofito e lo sporofito sono simili. I cistocarpi e i sori sono sparsi sul tallo e appaiono come piccole macchie scure. Specie annuale, che colonizza gli ambienti sommersi riparati. .
