	. *Bostrychia scorpioides* (Hudson) Montagne ex Kuetzing (=Fucus scorpioides Hudson, =Fucus amphibius Hudson) .
	Etymo: gr: small curl; lat: like a scorpion Etymo: gr: piccolo ricciolo; lat: simile ad uno scorpione
	. Very characteristic thread-like, subtile thallus, usually forming 2 to 3cm high, dense tufts. Very curled extremities. Jet black. The sporophyte and the gametiophyte are similar. Grows on the stalk of Halimione portulacoides (Chenopodiaceae), a typical Species of the saltmarshes. Tallo assai caratteristico, filiforme e sottile, di solito in densi ciuffi alti 2-3cm. Estremità molto arricciate. Colore nero brillante. Lo sporofito ed il gametofito sono simili. Cresce sullo stelo di Halimione portulacoides (Chenopodiacee), una Specie tipica delle paludi salate. .
